China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) joins CEBB
We are pleased to welcome China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) as the latest member of Centre for Evidence Based Blockchain (CEBB).
Founded in 1957, CAICT operates under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It provides support for strategic planning, policies, standards, tests and certification for the development of the national ICT sector and the IT application, covering all areas of ICT, including blockchain, Industrial Internet, 5G, clouding computing and AI in China.
On joining the CEBB, CAICT’s Director of Institute of Industrial Internet and IoT, Dr Jian JIN, said:
“We are honoured to be joining the Centre for Evidence Based Blockchain as an institutional member. CAICT will work closely with CEBB to support blockchain industry and academics in China for the evidence-based advancement of blockchain benchmarks and frameworks. Chinese Blockchain ecosystems are very much looking forward to participate in the BBA’s world-class portfolio of initiatives such as JBBA, ISC, CEBB, BAF and universities and industry research programmes.”
Dr Naseem Naqvi, Chair of CEBB, said:

We have recently published the UK’s National Blockchain Roadmap and working with 250+ individual and over two dozen institutional members, including some of the largest universities and blockchain research hubs in the world.
