China’s Alliance of Blockchain Industry Z-Park becomes a Member of BAF

CHINA is the latest to join The Blockchain Associations Forum, as Alliance of Blockchain Industry, Z-park 中 关村区块链产业联盟”, one of the largest blockchain alliances in China, joins BAF.

ABI has more than 230 members including Tencent, Huawei, Baidu, Alibaba, AntChain, China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom, as well as some of the largest universities in China including Tsinghua university and Peking University to name a few.

On signing the MoU with the British Blockchain Association, ABI’s General Secretary, Dr. Jian JIN said:

“We are delighted to join the BBA’s Blockchain Associations Forum, a global coalition of DLT think-tanks of 50+ countries in 6 continents. As the leading voice of Chinese blockchain ecosystem, ABI is very much looking forward to play an active role in contributing to harmonising efforts of the BBA to build networks, establish international standards and advance best practices”.

Dr Naseem Naqvi, President of the British Blockchain Association and Chair of BAF said:

“We welcome ABI Z-Park to BAF. China is the 51st member country to join the Forum and on behalf of all member associations, we look forward to a fruitful collaboration with the Chinese blockchain community to jointly advance the common monologue and forum objectives.”

What is Blockchain Associations Forum?

BAF is an inter-disciplinary, transnational harmonisation group of some of the most influential and visionary Blockchain and DLT associations. A neutral and decentralised platform for change, BAF’s vision is to achieve international co-operation and to address global challenges around blockchain education, workforce planning, policymaking and government regulation.
